Meeting the Tropical Ice Prince

Michael Christian Martinez, our lone representative for the recently concluded Sochi Winter Olympics, held a series of meet and greet event when he visited the country last February 24 and 25 for his Filipino supporters. One of the venue is at SM Megamall, which is just a few blocks away from our office. So I got a chance to see him in person.
I arrived at the venue at around 4:30 PM. The meet and greet, as advised will start at 4 in the afternoon. But it hasn't started yet after 30 minutes.. So I looked for a good spot at the second floor of Fashion Hall. But I noticed that there were also people on the skating rink at the 5th level. I asked the security guard if Michael will have the interview first or the performance. He said that he'll dance on the ice first before the meet and greet. As I rushed to the skating rink, I heard loud screams from fans. Could it be him?
The vicinity of the ice rink were full of fans. I really wanted to see him 'float' on ice so I squeezed my way to the crowd, to get a nice video of him. Unfortunately, I was behind a tall guy, so I just raised my phone and zoomed it. He performed Bohemian Rhapsody on ice. I've got goosebumps all over as he glided his way on ice. I was so amazed. This boy is really talented.
I'll try to upload the video once I've finished editing it. I just need to remove some of the unwanted scenes.
I didn't finished his performance because my arms got tired and I'm getting suffocated at my spot. I went back to the second floor to get a photo of him. If only I brought my camera. I should have taken better pictures.

I was only on break so I had to get back to the office. I'd loved to see more of him, however we had a visitor and my boss might get angry if I extended my break again. But before going back, I tried my luck if I can see him closer. And I've succeeded. I was only a few inches away from him!

The earliest 20 fans who came at the venue before the event started (or should I say before the mall opens) were so lucky to get a photo with him. Some even got the chance to hug or kiss him. Waaahhh I'm so envious!
MM, as fondly called by hi friends, will be back again for training for another competition. I hope when he comes back, he'll have another event. And I hope by that time, we'll now have a photo together.
