Last January, we visited my father's province, Pangasinan, to attend our grandmother's wake. It was really unfortunate because we could have visited Inang (as we fondly call her) more often when she was still strong, if only we have the time and money. Sadly, it's too late. Good thing, my father was able to see her during the holidays.
We stayed for only three-days as I have still work and my brother still has to go to school. But I've felt like we've been there for a week because for some reasons, we always feel like time is so slow when we are in the province. So procrastinate, we strolled around the our little town.
What I like about staying in the province is the fresh air and beautiful scenery. With these, I can easily forgot all of the hustle and bustle of living in the city. Thank you to my shujin's locally branded phone that shoots exceptional photos, that I was able to snap some of GOD's beautiful creations.

I bet the town folks never thought that these flowers exist. Or maybe they were just ignoring it.

They still follow the tradition for funerals. We had to walk to the church and cemetery under the scorching heat of the sun. While walking, I saw this beautiful view. Took my phone out and snap!

The sun was shining bright that day.

It's 12 noon. The sun shone bright as the leaves fell to the ground.
We're planning to get back this March for my niece's first birthday. Hopefully by that time, I have enough money to spend for a week-stay in our town. But if none, we might wait for another five years to visit our relatives again.
