Shujin had been telling me about an eatery in Raon which serves purely ‘lumpiang sariwa’. And so after my laboratory test at UST, we headed to Globe Lumpia House - The Home of Original Fresh Lumpia.

It was just a small, carinderia-like eatery which can accommodate only a few customers, situated amid the heart-pounding and bustling sound of speakers and amplifiers in Raon. I can’t see the name of the store because at first because what I’ve noticed were photos / newspaper clippings of the owner together with celebrities - Charlene Gonzales, Susan Enriquez etc to name a few.

And because it’s lunch already, we decided to dine at Globe. The fresh lumpia only costs PHP16 each. Not bad for the medium-sized, packed spring roll ne.

I’m not an avid eater of lumpiang sariwa. But this food is really delish! It’s really to die for. You can taste every ingredients whenever you chew it. Adding to that is the unlimited serving of its sweet sauce. Yum Yum Yum.

I had two servings of their lumpia. After a mouthful of it, ONAKA IPPAI!! (means full in Nihongo).

Waiting in vain. There were three lines and it was freakin' hot.

• The newfound friends I’ve met while waiting at the ticketing booth were able to watch the concert. Mommy Tess scalped two upper box tickets. While Laine, finally got a Gen Ad seat (Yep, I helped her to get one).
• My friend saw Joseph Bitangcol at Starbucks. I wonder if he’s meeting up with Dara eonnie.
• I wish I had their official lightstick. Should I get one this December?
• Should’ve hoarded all the Jeju air fans on our pit. I could sell it for a Pnp100 per piece. Kidding!
• I arrived at home around 1AM. Good thing my parents were not mad at me.
• Was too sleepy in church so I had to pinch myself from time to time to be awake >.<
• Brought my camera and the Alive Tour lightstick at work. Just want to share my experience to my officemates.
• I’m supposed to work but I’m still on a high. I was doing my job while spazzing with my friends on twitter and listening to BB songs on myheadset. Yeah. That’s what you call multi-tasking. Kekeke
• Searched for the video RiRi and GD shot using the Galaxy phone. And guess what? We were on the video!!! *freaks out

• I didn’t notice the ‘G-bulge’ on the concert, but upon checking some photos and fancams, OMG >.<
• Editing the photos was grueling. I was so near to the boys yet some photos I got were blurry. I probably need a new camera. An SLR I guess?
• Still imagining what if I got a Doraemon stuff toy and gave it to DaeDae. Most probably, I will get a hug from him. KYAAA!!!
• I thought that this euphoria will only last for a week. But what the hell? It’s been three weeks now!!! WTH

• Yes! I’m getting crazy!!! I probably need to go the mental asylum Hahahaha *kidding

Seven Korean artists in one big concert?! Yes, it will happen! 

This coming January 19, 2013, Girls Generation (SNSD), Exo-M, Exo-K, Infinite, U-kiss, Tahiti and Tasty, will make their way at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds and perform their hits in front of Filipino fangirls and fanboys.

Tickets will be available this October 15. But if you want to get it earlier, you should attend the pre-selling event on October 14 at SM Megamall Activity Center. And if you're lucky enough, you might win some tickets. Isn't that fantastic?! Click here for details.

Thirteen days before the Bigbang Alive Tour and I'm still trying to persuade my mom and dad to let me watch the concert. And looking at it, I only have a 50% chance of seeing my KPOP bias perform. Huhuhu. 

Honestly, I've already decided not to attend the concert and just lock myself up in the cupboard.  But upon reading all the BBPH's mission, I told myself that I need to be there and be part of that event.

So now, I'm still hoping that luck will be with me and my parents will change their decision. Or else, me and namja chingu will do our evil plan. Kidding!

Boredom is really eating me up during my sick leave. I can’t help out on chores because I should be resting. 

And to make my days a lot more productive, I practiced my doodle skills again. Now, I tried it on a bigger pad. I’ll be posting photos of my doodle’s progress from day 1 until day 4. 

Let’s start on its bottom part. Guess what my doodle’s theme is.

• Get three different colors of colored paper. Cut it vertical strips in three different sizes. Let’s say, small, medium and large. 

• Roll the small sized strip then glue the end of the strip to secure.
• After that, get the medium and large-sized strips and fringe-cut its one side.

• Glue the medium-sized strip first on the smaller one then begin rolling it.

Drawing has been my favorite hobby eversince. Whenever my hands laid on a piece of paper, it will automatically scribble its way until it forms an amazing image.

My parents has been always supportive of my talent. Otousan enrolled me before in a weekend art class when I was six. Unfortunately, I’ve only attended the class once because I got sick and it took me few months before I got well.  And since then, I got shy attending art classes and opted to learn all the techniques by myself.

But I think it is only now that I’m geting used with the techniques as studying has been my focus and neglected art for sometime (although I frequently join art contests during highschool). Thanks to @valeriechua and @myrollingstar for their amazing artworks. They’re now my inspiration ^_^

A very late post on my first PG (Patay Gutom) adventure, after my surgery and therapy. Glad that I’m back to normal. Normal in the sense that I can again eat whatever I want. But this time, I have to be more careful because I’m still not cleared. Okay let’s go back to the topic.

As soon as I came back to work three weeks ago, our head nurse reminded me to complete my annual physical exam or else I’ll get a memo. So when Saturday came, shujin accompanied me to Healthway SM The Block to finish it. The physical exam was fast. I was just surprised on the dentist’s findings because I believe, I need to undergo a minor surgery (again?!) to remove an impacted tooth. But she only told me to have it restored (pasta) and do some cleaning. Anyway, we were so hungry after that and headed to Trinoma. Yeobo wanted to have another taste of Sbarro’s menu. However, I insisted to try out Ramen X. And I won ^_^

Ramen X is a newly opened ramen place in Trinoma which offers affordable Japanese menu. Prices for their noodles are just Php 99 to Php 129. Really inexpensive, ne?

The interior is quite big, comfortable and cozy. A great place for meet-ups and fan gatherings.

Since it’s our first time to eat here at Ramen X, we didn’t know that their serving is quite big. We’re starving that we ordered two separate rice bowls - Oyakudon for shujin and Katsudon for me (both priced at Php99)…

… their best seller, Yoshi’s Ramen (soy based roast pork noodles with pork belly slices - Php159)…

… and lastly two Japanese-style hotdogs, wafu dogs.

The rice bowls are pretty fine. It’s just that their were too much onion rings on my katsudon. They are also serving unlimited rice but I believe a bowl is enough.

Its ramen on the contrary is really tasty. However, I can’t say that I can feel being in Japan eating their noodles. For me, nothing beats Shinjuku Ramen House in Makati for serving the best ramen. But I would still recommend Ramen X as an alternative though.

As for the wafu dogs, gomen because I wasn’t able to taste it as I was so full already. I just brought it home for my otouto. But I bet, with its look, it’s delicious as well ^_^.

All in all, I’m rating it as 4 out 5. Ramen X is located at 2F Trinoma Mall beside David’s Tea house.
