Another wish of every Hallyu fangirls/fanboys has been granted as Korean actor Lee Min Ho a.k.a Gu Jun Pyo of Boys Over Flowers and Johnny / Lee Yoon Sung of City Hunter, finally visited Philippines for a ‘fun’ meet on his latest clothing line endorsement.

Yey for the free pass! Got these pass even before I got my Big Bang tickets.

His good looks and infectious smile made the Filipino crowd go gaga over him, after his hit Korean hit series were aired here in our country. I guess the very reason why Mr. Ben Chan chose him as his new model.

Arriving last November 15, Min Ho was welcomed by Filipino Minoz at the airport. Some fans, I believe, even camped out just to have a glimpse of the 25-year old superstar. The LMH team, then immediately proceeded to Makati Shangri-la Hotel for the press interview wherein Korean DJ Sam Oh was the host and the interpreter as well.

November 16 came and this is the day every Minoz has been waiting for. I and my yeobo lined up at Araneta around 1PM. I’m not really excited. Kekeke.  I just want to have a nice spot where I can see my City Hunter better.

Lucky we were in front of the line.
Waiting in vain. There were three lines and it was freakin' hot.
At long last, the gates were finally opened at around 5PM. The security kept on reminding us not to run. But fangirls are fangirls. As soon as they stepped inside the coliseum, they started to run like they’re being chased by zombies. Hahaha. Then some staffs were giving away LMH Bench posters for free. Got three but I ended up taking home just one poster because I gave it away to my friends. I should have asked for more and sell it to my younger brother’s classmates.

This man made every girls heart doki-doki ♥

The show started at 7 o’clock. However, Lee Min Ho is yet to be seen as he was still preparing at the backstage. Good thing, the bubbly host / ‘sawsawero’ of Face to Face was there to entertain the audience while we leaving us excited. They also picked 10 lucky fans for a game, and another 10 for the autograph signing event held last November 18. Well, I was really hoping to get picked. But I’m not really lucky with raffles. *sayang!

Look at this people. They were trying to be as close to the stage as possible.

An hour before LMH came out, Araneta coliseum was starting to pile up.

Thought he was coming out already when the lights were turned off. But it was only an intermission number. The performers danced to the ‘old’ KPOP tunes of Wonder Girls’ Nobody, Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry, and 2NE1’S Fire. And  last but not the least, 2012’s worldwide hit Gangnam Style by Psy. I was expecting Lee Min Ho will come out dancing to Gangnam. And it didn’t happen.

Weapons up! Yes. These are not light sticks. Cellular Phones, Iphones, Ipads, Tablets, Digital and DSLRs to get some snaps of the superstar.

After the performance, the host, Sam Oh went to stage to start the real deal. And Jun Pyo came out! *Fangirl scream. He’s really good-looking even though I was just looking at him from the upper box B section through the big screen. His smiles are really to die for.

And the interview session started. He answered questions from his fans and translated by the host Sam Oh. He even asked one of a fan in the mosh pit, what Pinoy food she can recommend for his dinner after the event. As usual, she said adobo. If I’ll be asked with the same question, I would’ve recommended sinigang since he love stew.

Got a short video here. Mianhe because of the poor quality.

Min Ho, I believe knows just a bit of the English language, so he opted to use Hangul instead. What’s funny about the event was the crowd went into pandemonium whenever he is just about to speak a word or just make cute gesture. Hahahhaa.

As the event continues, fun games were also held for lucky funs. There was the Lee Min Ho Get that Look and Act that Scene contests.  A Korean looking teen boy won on the look-a-like contest while a 16-year old won MinHo’s vote for the act that scene.

How do you spell handsome? L-E-E M-I-N H-O.

Before the fun meet ended, they had a game wherein the ten lucky fans had to spin a wheel to get a certain task. The tasks were: handshake, eye stare, photo op, special gift, and the autographed life-sized poster. I envy those winners because, not only because they got to see Lee Min Ho up close and share the same stage with him, but also because they were able to get a photo of him together. Kyaa!!

I believe these winners were already advised before they went up on stage that they should behave as much as possible. However, the last winner was a wild ahjumma who kept on hugging MinHo! What the fudge! I understand what she feels, but she should’ve acted like a human. Besides if she’s really a fan, she should’ve known that Korean celebrity doesn’t like too much skin ship. I bet everyone in the crowd were mad at this girl. Even Sam Oh was surprised on what she did. It came to a point that his bodyguards were already looking at her on the right side of the stage. While a production staff kept on pulling her away from the actor. Poor MinHo. Harassed by an ahjumma. But the superstar actor is really nice. Although you can actually see that he was startled, he kept his cool and just smiled all the way. And it made me love him more

This guy really knows how to do fan service. Not only his smile and awesomeness stood out, but also his kindness to the Filipino crowd made him more worthy of our deaf-defying screams. He was even worried for the safety of those who were on the mosh pit and told them to be safe. How sweet!!!

As the fun meet ends, Lee Min Ho requested to have a photo of all his Filipino fans. See the photo below.

credits to the owner

And the event ended. It was really a fun meet indeed. I may not see him that close unlike Big Bang, but I enjoyed how he treated us with his warm and affectionate smile.

He still had some series of mall shows last November 18, which I also planned attending. However, I wasn’t able to go to the venue anymore as we were on a birthday party.

Thanks to Bench for organizing such event. You don’t know how grateful every fangirls/fanboys are for seeing their man of their dreams. And we are hoping to see him again.
