SCRIBBLING THOUGHTS ON PAPERS
Saturday, October 06, 2012
Drawing has been my favorite hobby eversince. Whenever my hands laid on a piece of paper, it will automatically scribble its way until it forms an amazing image.
My parents has been always supportive of my talent. Otousan enrolled me before in a weekend art class when I was six. Unfortunately, I’ve only attended the class once because I got sick and it took me few months before I got well. And since then, I got shy attending art classes and opted to learn all the techniques by myself.
But I think it is only now that I’m geting used with the techniques as studying has been my focus and neglected art for sometime (although I frequently join art contests during highschool). Thanks to @valeriechua and @myrollingstar for their amazing artworks. They’re now my inspiration ^_^
Scroll down for some of my works. I’m still a novice on watercolors so I’m just using Prang and a cheap nylon brush.
I've seen this on @valeriechua 's watercolor workshop. I wasn't able to attend the event and just attempted to do some of the task on my own. Well, I'm not sure if I did the techniques correctly since I just followed a tutorial on Youtube.
Another attempt. This one looks like a work of a 10-year old hahahaha. Lame @_@
After my discharge from the hospital, I was isolated for a few days in my room. So out of boredom, I tried making still life of the fruits I've been eating. And here are the result. Not bad right?
Want some Kwek-Kwek? I'm glad I was able to finally blend the colors correctly and come up with a more realistic drawing *sobs
That’s it. I will post more photos on the following days and I hope by that time, I’ve already mastered the technique.
