The first time I saw Miracle in Cell No. 7's trailer on a website, it instantly caught my attention and touched my heart. I want to watch it immediately. Teary eyed, I've tried scouring the net to download the film. Unfortunately, the English subtitle was not yet available.
I've been googling the film from time to time until I forgot about it. But not until I've come across a Facebook post of a former colleague about the flick. Searched it again and voila! Finally! It now has a subtitle!

Miracle in Cell No. 7 is the heartwarming story of Lee Yong-gu (Ryu Seung-ryong), a mentally-challenged father wrongfully accused of murder and rape. He was imprisoned and befriends his cell mates, who later on helped his precious 6-year old daughter, Lee Ye-Sung (Park Shin Hye) to break in their cell. So what's the miracle on this film? You have to watch it and see for yourself.
For now, I'll be posting some screenshots of the scenes. In a way, some spoilers as well. So to those who despise spoilers, you can now stop reading. But to those who are too curious about this Lunar New Year offering, scroll down.
In the name of justice, I will punish you. Sailor Moon!
Hana, deul, set! This scene is so adorable. You can see that aside from having a father and daughter relationship, they're also bestfriends.
