RESTO and FOOD REVIEW: Matgalne Korean Restaurant Invasion
Friday, July 19, 2013
Our team really loves to eat. So when my Korean-culture-aficionado boss found a good lunch buffet deal in a group buying site, we immediately purchased it.
We went to Matgalne Restaurant Ortigas branch on a Saturday. We were all hungry when we arrived at the venue (which was also jampacked at that time). And upon seeing the buffet table, we starved more.
Here are some of their dishes.
The ever famous Kimchi.
Namja chingu thought it was lasagna so he got loads of it.
You know what happened after ^_^
|
Gyeran Mari (Korean Egg Roll).
My boss’ version is much tastier than the restaurant offers.
|
Salad! |
You can also make your own Janchi Guksu (Korean Warm noodle soup). |
If Pinoys have Pancit, Koreans, on the contrary have Japchae. |
Tasty Zucchini Jeon |
Err? I forgot the name of this dish. |
Dried Seaweed Rice Balls |
My version of Bibimbap.
Yes. I got a big bowl and got so full.
|
And the star of the day, unlimited Samgyeopsal and Chadolbaegi.
(I think we ordered a total of 20 plates of meat and beef).
|
I wasn’t able to took other photos of food because Koreans were crowding the buffet table and were in a hurry to get their lunch.
Aside from the unlimited food we had, you can also get unlimited drinks for Php 35. You may choose from orange, calamansi, pineapple and tea.
We really enjoyed dining at Matgalne. The foodwas really worth the price. Quite affordable compared to other Korean restaurants I’ve been. Their staff are also friendly, so customers are well taken care of.
So if you want to taste Korea the cheapest way, Matgalne and feast on their delectable dishes.
